We are excited to welcome you to cast in our first official model search open to our Curly Crew based in the New York/New Jersey area! This is your chance to be the face of the 2023 Curl Daddy Campaign!

Submissions are open through January 31st, 2023. You must be 21+ to apply and all applicants are allowed one (1) submission ONLY. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and TikTok!

Official Rules | Curl Daddy Model Search

    • Must reside in the New York/New Jersey area at the time of submission.

    • Must be 21+ at the time of submission.

    • Must follow Curl Daddy on Instagram and TikTok. Links are available in the site header on CurlDaddy.com.

    • Must subscribe to the Curl Daddy newsletter on CurlDaddy.com. We may announce winners via email. Be sure to use the same email you used to join the competition.

  • • Winner will become the face of Curl Daddy for 2023 Campaign

    • Winner will be featured Video Trailer for the brand to be shared via all social media platforms

    • Winner will receive professional styling, hair, and makeup during an exclusive photoshoot with the Curl Daddy team

    • Winner will receive the entire Curl Daddy haircare collection

    • Winner will be featured in a live 1-on-1 interview with the Curl Daddy founder via Instagram and TikTok

    • Winner will receive a complimentary personal branding consultation sponsored by CURRENT•LY Global, Inc.

    • The competition is open for online submissions ONLY via CurlDaddy.com starting January 3, 2023, and ending at 11:59pm EST on January 31, 2023.

    • Curl Daddy, LLC and CURRENT•LY Global, Inc. will review all submissions and make semi-finalist selections which will be announced and contacted in February 2023.

    • Semi-finalists will be invited to for an in-person casting.

    • The winner of the model search will be announced as the first official Curl Daddy Ambassador following the in-person casting slated end of February/early March 2023.

  • Does it cost to apply? No. This competition is free to all applicants.

    If I am a New York/New Jersey resident but currently residing abroad, can I still apply? No. We are looking for those currently residing in the New York/New Jersey area only for this years competition.

    Is there an age limit to apply? No. However, you must be 21 to submit during the initial application phase.

    I am non-binary. Can I still apply? We welcome those who identify as he/him/his and they/them to apply.

    Do you allow twin or couple submissions? Twins or couples may be considered. However, we do require that you submit individually. Feel free to mention your twin and/or partner to us in the application.

    How long can I serve as a Curl Daddy Official Ambassador? While you will always be valued as a special member of the Curl Daddy Crew, this ambassadorship is for one (1) year.

    Is the Curl Daddy Ambassador paid? There may be paid opportunities that arise. However, the selection isn’t a salaried position. We can assure you the ambassadorship will be mutually valuable. :)
